Horror is the ultimate hideaway for most teenagers. I think it is somewhere you can play with those thoughts that are fuelled by your uncontrollable hormones. Some are content to understand them in the arena of horror. Unfortunately some people have problems defining the fiction from reality and go out and chop up their neighbour’s budgie. Let me state that, as a reader of Herbert, King, Barker and so on, I was happy ironing out my teenage angst through their great works. My fantasies were caged by their words and surreal images. All budgies remained intact.

Now that I am much, much older, I am eager to dabble in the macabre, via my pen. See what you think…

  1. I love the way you write your free texts: about yourself, comments on your works, thoughts about things… the words flow naturally and spontaneous, you’re very entertaining. 🙂 And fanks for reading my poem. I felt honoured.

    • They’re not spontaneous! I actually started thinking about them during the Great War, but hadn’t the medium to express. Writing in the trenches at minus fifty two, while the Hun fires canon balls and the Martians dance around the ears is very difficult. It wasn’t until the Great War turned into just another bloody excuse to have a worldwide ruckus that I had the means.
Your poetry is superb, evocative and smashing! Look forward to reading more!
Take care of you and yours!
